Terms and Conditions

NOOSA COVE is an exclusive and small Holiday Apartments retreat catering for the gay/adult clientele exclusively. We are proud to offer a prime located, quality property catering to our special clientele. We have achieved this standard and reputation built over 22 years.

Our tariffs reflect the best value and service for our prime Noosa location. To continue to achieve this, we necessarily need to apply these terms and conditions which incorporate the basis on which bookings for Noosa Cove are accepted.

Please note carefully our cancellation policy, as we are not a large hotel complex and necessarily need to adhere to our cancellation policy. NOOSA COVE necessarily reserves the right, where failure to abide by these terms and conditions, to refuse the keys, amend the tariff or apply additional charges and/or terminate the occupancy.

To secure a reservation a 50% deposit of the total tariff is payable on making the booking. In the event of a booking made within 7 days full payment is required and in the event of bookings made for prime time full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment of this deposit will constitute acceptance of these booking conditions.

No bookings are possible without payment to, and an acknowledged, written receipt has been issued by Noosa Cove. NOOSA COVE does not charge a booking deposit as is commonly charged elsewhere.
The deposit is accepted on the basis of current conditions and your booking may be in rare circumstances subject to change of apartment in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Every reasonable effort would be made to offer alternate accommodation should unlikely events prevent the original accommodation from being available (i.e. fire, storm, breakdown of services etc.)

BALANCE DEPOSIT

The balance of monies is due on arrival.

CREDIT CARDS

We accept VISA, MasterCard and EFTPOS only. Debit cards are not acceptable. Please contact us if you wish to make any payments by direct bank transfer or cheque.

On check in, we require a signature on our registration card as a credit card guarantee to be applied by management for any item chargeable to the registered guest/s in accordance with the terms & conditions of this bookings agreement.

The Credit Card used for payment of accommodation must be in the name of the person who signs the registration card upon arrival. Where payment is made or partly made using a second credit card, that card holder hereby agrees for the use of the card as a guarantee to cover all or part of any cost or charges under these terms and conditions of bookings, as deemed by management.

Where a credit card is not available a $500 cash deposit will be required.

In the event of any accounts (e.g breakages, damage to the property, excess cleaning charges etc) being unpaid and becoming payable, you authorize us to charge these accounts utilizing the signed guarantee against your credit card. All charges are subject to our discretion. This authority is valid for 7 days after the last day of your stay.

There is a 1.5% Visa and MasterCard surcharge for card usage.

DAMAGES, BREAKAGES AND LOSSES

All damages, breakages or losses to the property, furniture and furnishings are to be reported to Management by the guest immediately. Should you discover a fault, breakage or maintenance/safety issue when you arrive or during your stay, please advise our office or we will consider those the responsibility of the current guest and charge accordingly.

When a guest or an invitee of a guest enters the premises, they are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these conditions. Guests and invitees are expected to behave in a manner, which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within the property.

In the event that the property has been either damaged (whether such damage is willful or not) the management without reference will enter a debit on the credit card of the guest and the guest hereby authorises the manager to do so. This is at the sole and absolute discretion of the manager. We will supply an invoice for this.

LOSS, DAMAGE OR THEFT – GUESTS PROPERTY

Noosa Cove takes no responsibility for personal property. This establishment or proprietor of the property shall not be liable to any guests or invitees for any loss, damage or destruction to the property or any personal property brought upon these premises by the said guest or any invitee. Without limiting the foregoing personal property shall include jewellery, money, surfboards, computers, mobile phones all personal effects and motor vehicles parked on the premises. Again, guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

NOISE

Guests and their invitees agree not to create any undue noise or behave in a manner so as to interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of other guests.

RESPONSIBILITY

Every effort is made to ensure that information verbally or displayed on our website is correct. Information and rates on the Noosa Cove websites are subject to change without notice.

SUBJECT TO CHANGE

We accept bookings in good faith and these bookings may be subject to change. We cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control. If the property were damaged unexpectedly etc. we reserve the right to change or reallocated apartments where circumstances necessitate. We cannot be held responsible if the accommodation is unsatisfactory to your needs on arrival. No refund is given if you are so unsatisfied with your accommodation. In certain circumstances refunds will be given due to health and safety reasons. Satisfactory evidence in writing from a guest may be considered. This refund process may take 6 to 8 weeks. A written refund application will need to be completed for consideration. No guarantee is given that your money will be refunded.

UNDER 18’s

NOOSA COVE caters exclusively for adult guests only, and it is agreed that all guests and invitees will comply with this. The swimming pool area is a sun tanning, clothing optional area.

CAR PARKING

Undercover garaging is not available at NOOSA COVE, however if on site parking is required, please make suitable arrangements at the time of booking. Ample, unrestricted street parking adjoins NOOSA COVE. It is understood and agreed that Noosa Cove is not to be held responsible for any damages to vehicles however such may occur including hail and storm damage.

SMOKING

In accordance with State Legislation, smoking is NOT permitted inside any Holiday Rental Property. Smoking is necessarily prohibited within each NOOSA COVE apartment and is strictly confined to the balconies and outdoor areas.

If it is found that smoking has occurred, costs associated with the relocation of a forward booking and/or the cleansing of the property to remove all traces of cigarette smoke is agreed and will be charged to the guest. This can include dry cleaning of soft furniture and furnishings and can be a costly expense.

ACCOMMODATION

The premises are let to you for holiday purposes only, for the period stated and the number of guests notified in the NOOSA COVE confirmation email or receipt.

CHECK IN

Standard check in time is 2pm, however where possible, we try to assist with earlier check in times.

Please advise if your stated arrival time has changed from that notified at the time of making your booking.

Personal Identification (driving license or passport) copied and full payment is required at check in and prior to release of keys.

CHECK OUT & DEPARTURE

Check out time is necessarily strictly at 10.00 am. In certain circumstances a slightly later checkout time maybe arranged the day prior to departure at managements’ discretion. Without prior consent a late checkout fee will automatically be debited to the credit card of the guest. (50% of the nightly tariff) and the guest hereby authorises the management accordingly.

Keys must be returned to NOOSA COVE Reception and it is agreed lost and non-returned keys shall be charged to the above stated credit card at $55.00 per set.

Prior to departure from the property the following is agreed to be done:-

  • All rubbish to be removed from the property and placed in the appropriate bins.
  • Dishwasher is to be emptied, all dishes washed, dried and returned to cupboards as provided.
  • The property is to be left secure with all windows and doors closed and locked.
  • All furniture to be placed in its original position.

It is agreed to leave the premises clean and tidy, or for cleaning fees to be debited, at normal industry hourly rates to the guest’s credit card, for premises returned in breach of the above.

CANCELLATION & BOOKING ALTERATIONS

Please note as NOOSA COVE is a boutique Holiday Apartment Retreat, we necessarily need to apply an exacting booking alterations and cancellation policy. We do not have the size and flexibility of a hotel complex.

Accordingly and in line with the major Noosa Booking Agencies the following cancellation policy applies.

It is an agreed condition that cancellation for any reasons whatsoever inside of 30 days from arrival there shall be no refund of the deposit.

At the management’s discretion however, and in the event the apartment is able to be relet for the full rental and period of the cancelled booking, a refund may be made less a $200 cancellation fee and 14.85% administration fee is agreed to be deducted from the deposit paid.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We recommended you obtain travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances and to cover the above fees and costs in the event of cancellation.

CLEANING & LINEN

Our apartments include all linen, towels and our beach towels.

Our apartments are fully self-contained and self-catering. For longer holiday stays, all new linen is freshly supplied each 7 days. Should you require additional services, please contact us prior to your arrival and we will be happy to arrange this for you. Reasonable additional charges will apply. It is agreed that charges for cleaning bedspreads, blankets, furniture fabrics etc. soiled or stained with sunscreen or other will be charged to the registered guest’s credit card or deposit.

ANIMALS

No animals are permitted at NOOSA COVE. The exception of course being a blind assistance guide dog.

TERMINATION

If your reservation of the property is terminated, NOOSA COVE is authorised to carry out removal via any methods necessary at the guests cost. If your reservation of the property is terminated and you are removed from the property the total tariff paid for your reservation will be forfeited to NOOSA COVE. There will be no refund of tariff.

SECURITY & INSPECTIONS

NOOSA COVE reserves the right of entry to all apartments to secure windows and doors in the event of storms, or for maintenance including checking smoke detectors etc.
